Larry Dobesh grew up in East Bernard, TX, just outside of Houston. As an avid outdoorsman, he traveled the country chasing the best deer and also making a name for himself in the BBQ cook-off circles. While working as a Butcher on North Shepard in Houston, in the 1970's and 1980's, he started making his renowned blend of seasonings and smoked sausages. In the 90's through the mid 2000's, Larry worked with his cousin Charles at B&D Meat Co where the tradition continued.
Dozens of local smoke houses and restaurants use his blends of sausage and meat seasonings, and now we are excited to offer it to everyone else.
As a family run business, Steven & James are proud to take over the family business as Larry begins to retire. Let us share a part of our family with yours!
